TITLE: *Tool and Die Maker*
LOCATION: Southbridge, MA
INDUSTRY: Global Manufacturing
TYPE: Full-time, direct hire
SHIFT: 2nd shift (2:30pm-11pm) working Mon-Fri

*Your Tasks as Tool and Die Maker:*

* Plans, constructs, alters and repairs a wide variety of tools, dies, jigs, fixtures and gauges to very close tolerances.
* Performs development work, difficult toolroom operations and skilled fitting, timing and adjusting.
* Plans construction procedures and methods and select materials.
* Makes tool tryouts.
* Diagnoses and corrects problems in complicated dies and tools.
* Sets up and operates conventional horizontal and vertical milling machines, lathes, and surface and pedestal grinders.
* Sets up and operates standard toolroom support equipment, including drill presses, belt sanders, and sandblasters.

*Your Profile as Tool and Die Maker:*

* High School diploma or equivalent required.
* Minimum 10 years or more experience operating all toolroom machinery.
* Experience with CNC machine operation preferred.
* Effective verbal communications skills.
* Ability to work from prints, schematics, drawings, and verbal instructions.
* Due to the nature of work performed at our facility, U.S. Person status is required.
