Auto Damage Claims Adjusters handle auto claims through the life-cycle including but not limited to: investigation, evaluation and claim resolution. The purpose of this position is to provide service to agents, insureds and others to ensure claims resolve accurately and timely.ResponsibilitiesInvestigate assigned claims, confirm coverage, and verify damagesTake loss reports directly from insureds and/or claimants and/or their representativesInitiate initial claims handlingEvaluate, setting and recommending reservesNegotiation and settlement of claimsRequirementsAssociate's or bachelor's Degree preferred3 to 5 years of experience adjusting automobile physical damage and liability claimsPossess excellent oral and written communication skills via in person, on the phone, and in electronic interactionsExcellent understanding and skill level of claim handling and customer serviceExcellent interpersonal, negotiation, and organizational skillsVT and NH Property & Casualty adjusters license or the ability to obtain licensing preferredCommercial Lines experience a plusBenefitsConcord Group employees are eligible for benefits including medical, vision, dental, life, and disability insurance, sick time and holiday pay, three weeks' paid vacation, and a generous 401(k) plan with a 6% company match.About UsAs a leading regional provider of property and casualty insurance, The Concord Group helps protect the families and small businesses that enable our communities to thrive.
