Job Description:

Provides functional oversight to the Specialty AR Coordinators. Performs insurance verification, accurate charge capture, resolves claim edits, submits claims and resolves open accounts receivable balances. - Major Responsibilities:

• Provides functional oversight to assigned employees.
• Distributes and monitors work flow for employees in assigned area of oversight.
• Monitors relevant employee performance metrics and provides feedback to supervisor or manager.
• Provides recommendations to the manager or supervisor for the most efficient utilization of assigned personnel.
• Works with the Training and Quality Assurance department to train all assigned staff appropriately on specific job duties and new processes Provides technical assistance to assigned employees. Position Qualifications: License/Certification/Education: Required:
  • High School diploma Preferred: Experience/Skills: Required:
    • Two or more years of experience in health care billing functions.
    • Previous health care billing experience.
    • Proven track record of successful performance and goal achievement. Experience in accounts receivable follow-up process.
    • Goal oriented with high standards for quality and performance.
    • Ability to work collaboratively and effectively with people. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Basic clinical knowledge of specialty billing areas including but not limited to Research, Clinical Trials, Client, Transplant, Bone Marrow Transplant, Solid Organ Transplant, and Dental.
    • Ability to work independently, exercise good judgment to ensure compliant claims submission.
    • Advanced knowledge of specialty billing requirements related to claims and reimbursement policies.
