We are data driven, action oriented, and creative thinkers looking to accomplish the goal.*The Position*The Journeyman Electrician is a mission critical role within the organization. This is a qualified and licensed journeyman electrician in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, and is tasked with accomplishing (1) the leadership and oversight of a 4 person installation crew, it's work, quality, and safety, and (2) all of the electrical needs for each installation.This individual shall work with the Operations Manager to prep installation materials, ensure staff and equipment are trained and operating in a smooth and efficient manner, and manage installation activities on the site. This individual shall ultimately be responsible for the installation of all AC components, including inverters, wiring, conduit, support, commissioning, and photos of each project.*_Please note: for a limited time only, PlugPV is offering a signing bonus up to $15,000. The are on a first come, first serve basis. We have 6 signing bonuses approved for the remainder of the year. Please inquire during your interview with regard to availability._**The Responsibilities** Oversee and aid in the preparation of job materials, crew members, and equipment* Work with Operations Manager to ensure the integrity and effectiveness of safety protocols* Deploy with the installation crew to each installation* Conduct a customer walkthrough and interface with customer throughout each installation.* Direct and aid in the staging of materials* Direct and perform equipment layout activities* Install electrical equipment, wire, and conduit per specifications* Ensure all closeout and commissioning procedures are being completed* Additional duties as needed*Qualifications** Must possess a valid Journeyman Electrician's license issued by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts* Minimum 1 Years' experience installing photovoltaic systems* Ability to work in extreme environments (example: hot sun, cold) & Capable of lifting 50 lbs* Excellent customer service & communication skills.* Must be a self-starter with a natural sense of urgency and motivation to succeed* Must have a valid state driver's license and the ability to pass a pre-employment background screeningJob Type: Full-timePay: $45.00 - $55.00 per hourBenefits:* 401(k)* Dental insurance* Health insurance* Paid time off* Vision insuranceSchedule:* 10 hour shiftSupplemental Pay:* Signing bonusEducation:* High school or equivalent (Preferred)Work Location: Multiple Locations
