work.(sm)Reliant Medical Group, part of Optum has an immediate
opening for an Epic MyChart Program Analyst to join our team. The
Epic MyChart Program Analyst will be responsible for collaborating
-and coordinating -with members of the Epic Team to assess/address
medical group's needs and objectives; Epic analyst will have a
broad understanding of clinical and operational workflows and will
be able to support the clinical aspects of Epic for those users. In
addition, the Epic MyChart Program Analyst will assist with the
designing, testing and modification of new development,
enhancements and/or bug fixes. -Primary Responsibilities:
-
- Demonstrates a good knowledge base of Epic database structure
and the MyChart module; comprehend technical documentation and
apply that knowledge to business solutions; and be able to utilize
Epic's analyst tools, functionality, and functions (ex- perform
exports, imports, run utilities, batches, etc.---) to complete the
build as necessary.
- Able to maintain up to date knowledge of Epic's MyChart module
and maintain certification and its related interfaces and 3rd party
software integration (which included MyChart on line bill pay and
co pay collections; and credit card processing, self-pay workflows,
etc.). -
- Able to identify issues that arise in the MyChart module, and
share any issue that impacts other application teams like EpicCare
(EHR), and work with them to resolve the issues within the
workflows.
- Maintain regular communication with the Epic; including leading
the weekly Technical Support (TS) calls.
- Participate in team/project meetings as necessary and assists
in the development of project plans by providing accurate
deliverable time frames.
- Able to design, test and modify new development, enhancements
and/or bug fixes when necessary and participate in monthly
downtimes that bring live the new features and/or address bug fix
issues. -
- Maintain regular review of the Epic Sherlock/Help Desk queue
with team members and provide guidance as needed.
- Serve as a liaison between the other IT Teams and Epic Team to
assess, address, implement and coordinate the technical projects
and tasks that the clinic requires to meet their needs. -
- Re-direct operational requests as appropriate team leadership
when need add'l guidance
- Work with Epic Team to coordinate the Special Updates (SU) and
Release Authorizations (RA) -so they can be applied during regular
system downtimes.
- Attend specific strategic and business-related meetings as
needed to provide subject matter expertise and guidance
- Will have regular direct user (Rev Ops Leadership and staff)
interaction; needs to be able to demonstrate strong interpersonal
skills, strong written and verbal skills, so as to provide expected
user support; includes addressing help desk tickets.
- Participates in an on-call team rotation to support after hours
needs. - - -
- Performs additional duties as requested by the Epic Team

in.Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
- Epic certification in MyChart module or eligible to attain
certification
- Working knowledge of programming analysis and design within the
Epic modules
- Understanding of current information system or similar
installations
- Experience translating user needs into user-friendly work flows
and/or system builds
- Experience partnering with technical and/business
personnel
- Knowledge of business functions
- Demonstrated proficiency in all aspects of programming and
analysis within the Epic module and any necessary 3rd party
integration, including design factors, hardware and software
requirements
- Full COVID-19 vaccination is an essential requirement of this

- Certification in various Epic modules such as Prelude, Cadence,
etc. -
