responsibilities of the Inventory & Fulfillment Specialist are to
perform all activities related to the inventory, shipping, and
receiving functions of the company and its branches. The ideal
candidate will enjoy a fast-paced environment with proven
experience in inventory management and fulfillment processes. This
position reports directly to the Controller serving out of our
Auburn, MA office.
Requirements:
Maintain product inventory for ICS and ICS customersConduct
frequent spot and scheduled audits of physical inventory; reconcile
physical counts to inventory system, investigate
variancesUnderstand the Sales Order process that initiates the
purchasing process which flows through to receivingReceive products
as they arrive from manufacturers and vendorsConduct quality
assurance tests on products as required as they are receivedShip
outgoing products of ICS internal and ICS customer inventoryUtilize
company processes and software tools to record products received
and shippedMonitor and communicate back ordered product statusPull
stock items for emergency service tickets, tech needs, and ICS
employeesCreate RMAs for defective products or return as
neededReceive RMA product into inventory or release to customer as
neededManage relationships with couriersArrange for proper disposal
of retired equipmentAssist the Procurement Department with their
duties and responsibilities as neededDesired Skills & Experience5+
years of total professional experience2+ years' experience working
in an administrative or clerical rolePrior experience in
procurement or inventory management role a plusExperience in data
entry database management, and utilizing ERP systemsProficient with
general office applications including Microsoft Office
ApplicationsProcess driven and attention to detail with accuracy in
performing inventory and fulfillment responsibilitiesStrong
organizational, presentation, and customer service
skillsInterpersonal skills: such as telephony skills, communication
skills, active listening and customer-careAbility to multi-task and
adapt to changes quicklyTyping skills to ensure quick and accurate
data entrySelf-motivated with the ability to work in a fast-moving
environmentAbility to lift up to 50 pounds; able to stand and bend
