This position functions in a manufacturing environment at our Millbury, MA retread facility where commercial truck tires are retreaded through a series of manual and automated processes. This position does not require any previous retread manufacturing experience.This position is for 2nd shift: 2pm - 10:30pm Monday thru Friday Will train on 1st shift for about 4 weeks. Responsibilities will include but not be limited to:--- Train for all aspects of retread tire manufacturing--- Inspection and buffing tire carcasses--- Applying rubber compounds curing and quality control--- Follow processes to ensure retread tire completion--- Comply with all safety and liability guidelines and policies--- Using protective safety equipment to ensure safe operation of machines--- Provide 'Service Excellence Always to meet the service goals of the location--- Perform a variety of manual tasks for extended periods of time --- Light and Heavy lifting will be required to include commercial tires--- Must be able to work in a fast paced, results oriented environment--- Scanning tires in at each retread step to ensure accuracy of where each tire is currently located.
