job summary:The Senior Financial Analyst position is a Business Partner position with a fast growing life sciences company in the Metro West area. The Sr Financial Analyst will work closely with Senior Management to influence and support their decision making.
This is an excellent opportunity for a Financial Analyst or Senior Accountant looking to advance their career into a more finance focused position! This will be a dynamic role combining high level analytics and financial accounting.
Although remote, the ideal candidate will live in the Greater Boston area in order to travel to the office on a monthly basis (once a month).

The position will be responsible for

• Budgeting
• Long and short term planning
• Analyze financial data and create financial models for decision support
• Review financial performance and compare to budget; research and explain variances
• Create and maintain KPIs.
• Develops financial plans and reports for organizational leaders. Analyzes industry trends and makes recommendations optimization.
• Create standard and ad-hoc reports, tools, and dashboards
• Support month end close process
• Prepare monthly financial reporting packages for executives
• Continuously strive to improve processes, automate whenever possible -qualifications:The ideal candidate will have
  • BS in finance or accounting
  • 4 years of relevant finance experience
  • Strong communication skills
  • Business partnering
  • Attention to detail
  • Experience in fast paced, high growth company
  • Ideally from product driven environment
  • Experience working with, and presenting to, senior management
