to the Senior Director of Sales Engineering and Customer Success,
we are looking for an experienced Sales Engineer to join our
growing Commercial team. In this critical role, you will be
responsible for working collaboratively with the Connectbase Sales
organization to develop early-stage opportunities and help to
strategically solution and progress the deals through the later
stages of pipeline activity. You will serve as the technical
product expert to the market as well as internally with the Sales,
Customer Success, Customer Operations, Marketing, and Product
teams.Primary Responsibilities, including not limited to
Support the Sales team in closing
active deals by developing and delivering technical product
demonstrations as well as articulating the product's value and fit
to the customer or prospectIn collaboration with the Sales
organization, drive the discovery process throughout the sale
process to uncover, define and understand the customer or
prospect's requirements and work to create alignment with the
Connectbase solutionsSupport conversations around customer
integration into other systems using our products and workflow
driven solutions to help build efficiency. Lead and participate in
Proof-of-Concept engagements as well as RFIs / RFPsIdentify
improvements needed to Connectbase suite of products based on
market interactions and work closely with Product and Engineering
to scope potential resolutions Provide strategic input and guidance
on the Product Innovation roadmapRegularly review process
improvements, introducing, developing and/ or enhancing tools and
processes for the Sales Engineering team as we scaleWork
collaboratively with Marketing and Sales to influence product
messaging and positioningWorking Skills & Experience Requirements -
5+ years of Sales Engineer experience
in the business-to-business space with a proven track record of
success in closing large dealsDriven, proactive and positive
attitude with the desire to accomplish, learn and growSignificant
experience developing product demonstrations, with demonstrable
engaging product demonstration skillsCapable of quickly pick up on
new technologyExcellent presentation capabilities with the ability
to have productive conversations with senior executives both
verbally and in written formTranslate customer needs into technical
requirements for precise detailed communication internally.Highly
organized and detail-orientedExperience working productively with
Sales, Customer, Product, Engineering, and Marketing
teamsExperience in network & telecommunications space required.
Strong knowledge in API's and integration into CRM's, OSS, BSS a
plusChannel experience a plusOccasional travel (under 20%) is
